Around the world, beating an egg may be a great addition to many recipes. It complements both savory and sweet foods and is incredibly adaptable, from baked items to traditional omelets. However, who knew that the ever-useful and appetizing Tortang Talong could be made with beaten eggs, eggplant, and the appropriate seasonings?

A simplified version of the Filipino classic, cooked entirely in a microwave.

3.Microwave Champorado (Chocolate Rice Porridge)

Tablea, or pure chocolate, is used in the Easy Champorado Recipe, a version of chocolate rice pudding. This will be really easy and quick for you. When I was a child, Champorado is my preferred breakfast food.Up until now , I substituted powdered full-cream milk for condensed milk. But eventually, I figured out how to adjust condensed milk. I made this champorado dish with glutinous rice or regular rice, sugar (tablea), and pure chocolate. I just brought the water to a boil, added the rice and tablea, and stirred to allow the rice to cook.

For a cozy, sweet treat that feels like home.

Ingredients:

• Cooked rice – 1 cup

• Cocoa powder - 2 tbsp

• Sugar - 1–2 tbsp

• Water or milk - 1/2 cup

• Evaporated milk (optional) - for topping

Instructions:

1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine rice, cocoa powder, sugar, and water or milk.

2. Microwave for 2 minutes, stir well, then microwave for another minute.

3. Top with evaporated milk if desired.

4. Serve and eat it hot!

Why It’s Great:

• Costs around ₱25 per serving.

• Perfect for breakfast or merienda.

• Satisfy your sweet cravings without using or cooking over a stove.
